Jinyao Yuan is from Zhengzhou, China, and is an alumnus of Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) /Atlanta. In 2019, he gained his Master of Fine Arts degree in photography. Yuan had been making photographic work since 2010. While making photographs, he spends a long time gazing at the world as well as himself, to search for meanings. Yuan currently lives in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
